Oliver Proske

CEO & Set Design & Technical Management, Nico and the Navigators

Oliver Proske is a German stage designer, industrial designer, exhibition designer, producer and managing director. He studied industrial design at the HFBK Hamburg by Dieter Rams. In 1998 he founded the theatre company Nico and the Navigators together with his partner N. Hü¨mpel. He has since created all of the company’s 35 stage designs and he has acted as technical director for over 350 guest performances in more than 50 cities worldwide. In 2019, he created the first augmented reality glasses performance (Betrayal of Images) as part of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus. Building on this, he developed the AR Loopmachine in 2022.
